Hi, I’m Renu!
I first experienced Yoga as a wide-eyed eight-year-old in Banaras (Varanasi), India's sacred spiritual capital. I still remember the scene vividly—standing on the banks of the holy Ganges, awestruck by the stillness and power of my primary school principal. He was in his eighties but radiated the vitality of youth and the wisdom of a Himalayan master. It was through him that the seeds of Yoga were first planted in me.
I grew up in Dehradun, Rishikesh, and Haridwar—places steeped in yogic traditions. I was constantly seeking mystics, symbols, and mantras, drawn to the ancient practices that promised inner transformation. My father, a government officer by profession and a healer by passion, treated countless people through homoeopathy. His motto, “Health is your greatest wealth,” continues to guide me. My sister followed the healing path too—she is now a practicing Ayurvedic doctor in India.
Though I began with asanas and mantras, it wasn’t until I introduced Pranayama, Kriyas, and Mindfulness into my daily life that my practice deepened profoundly. These tools opened a new dimension of awareness, helping me care for the whole of my being—Physical, Emotional, Mental, Social, Intellectual, and Spiritual.
In 2000, I married the love of my life. We moved to the UK with our daughter in 2006, and that marked a new chapter in my teaching journey. I formally qualified as a professional yoga teacher in 2004 in India and have continued to learn and grow alongside some of the world’s finest teachers.
I would love to hear your story. Your dreams, your challenges. And if you feel called, I would be honoured to walk with you on your journey to optimal health, inner strength, and radiant well-being.
Namaste,
Renu
While I’ve taught regular yoga classes over the years, my deepest calling lies in sharing the wisdom of Yoga Nidra, Mantra, and Yogic Philosophy. I truly believe, from the depths of my soul, that Yoga is for everyone. It’s not just a practice—it’s a way of living, a path that supports us through every phase of life.
This was never more true than in 2020, when my beloved husband was suddenly taken from us, just before the COVID pandemic. He was only 46. My whole world shattered . And yet, through the sacred tools of Yoga, I began to see clearly: the illusion of permanence, the dance of Maya, and the ever-compassionate embrace of the Great Mother. I still feel his presence with me every day.
What began as a journey of self-discovery has transformed into a mission of service. I now guide others toward wholeness, vitality, and inner peace—not just on the mat, but in the living, breathing dance of life.
I would love to hear your story. Your dreams, your challenges. And if you feel called, I would be honoured to walk with you on your journey to optimal health, inner strength, and radiant well-being.
